Climatologies of Daily Minimum Near-Surface Air Temperature Files are provided in NetCDF format with standardized metadata. Each file encodes scale and offset parameters in its metadata. Standards-compliant software will apply these fields automatically and return values in the correct units; however, legacy or non-compliant applications may not. If there is any uncertainty regarding units, please consult the file metadata to verify the applied scale/offset and units.
