01_fire_events_and_drivers: contains the fire event metrics files and in the grid subdirectory drivers and burned area information 02_utest_results: contains the results for different u-test experiments, i. e. fire vs. no-fire for (a) entire region (both-files), (b) fire vs. no-fire for mountain regions (1-files), (c) fire vs. no-fire for no-mountain regions (0-files) and (d) mountain vs. non-mountain on fire days (mr_nonmr_new-files) 03_random_forest_results: contains for each region (first two letters) and season (second three letters), the variable importance and accuracy metrics. 04_timelags_datasets: contains seasonal averages for the timelags of fire drivers on fire days and on non-fire days. figures: contains figures of the publication, which can be derived from the code available in the git-repository https://gitlab.com/jumi26/wildfire-drivers-in-europe.git mountain_regions_mask: contains file to reproduce mountain regions
